Ihoby Rakotomalala, MA
Paralegal
"Mandroso" means "welcome," in Malagasy, the language spoken in Madagascar. Ihoby launched this paralegal freelance journey to incorporate "welcome" in people's lives: for attorneys to be confident in excellent bona fides, for families to celebrate their relationship, and for Ihoby to have more time with loved ones.
Her 17 years of navigating USCIS includes being on two F-1 visas, doing two rounds of OPT, and holding two R-1 visas and an extension before becoming a lawful permanent resident.
While working as a paralegal for three years, she successfully drafted over 68 marriage bona fides cases that were presented to U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), including for her own I-485 interview. She has yet to receive a denial or rejection for bona fides she prepared.
Ihoby hails from Madagascar and grew up in Cameroon as a Third Culture Kid. When not assisting attorneys, Ihoby enjoys running, pho, and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles with her family.
